As of August 14th, 2011, the KE4TWI beacon has been relocated, and is now on the air 24 hours per day. At just over 800' above sea level, the beacon overlooks the city of Lebanon, TN from the south.

Beacon radio & controller Beacon shed

The beacon operates at a power of 5 watts from a vertical dipole, with the center elevated at approximately 20 feet, behind the beacon shed pictured to the right. The dipole can be seen faintly between the tree in the background and the fence. The beacon is housed in a powered well building.

The beacon uses a Realistic HTX-100 radio, and the "Freakin' Beacon" kit as pictured in the center.
